The Minority Members in Ghana’s Parliament have waived their right to partake in the debate on the State of the Nation Address.
During Parliamentary procedures on Tuesday, the Minority Chief Whip, Alhaji Mohammed Mubarak Muntaka, told the House, “Our principle is that we are not participating in this. We will not be speaking to this”
On Thursday 13th February, 2020, they walked out of Parliament when the president of the Republic entered the House to deliver the State of the Nation Address.
