Information reaching Ghana News Avenue has it that Convener for Let My Vote Count Alliance and a member of the New Patriotic Party, David Asante, has been involved in an accident.
The near-fatal accident occurred this afternoon on the Walewale – Nalerigu road while he was on his way to North East Region from Bolgatanga.
Mr Asante who is also the Managing Director for the Ghana Publishing Company sustained minor injuries is said to be receiving treatment at Baptist Medical Centre located in Nalerigu.
He was in the company of other party members. It is believed that they were going to campaign in the North East Region.
