Joseph Addison popularly known in the entertainment industry as ‘killbeatz’ has inked an international deal with UK music label giant PeerMusic.
Killbeatz’s full credit production work was in 2009 on R2bees’ “Adey mad oh”. He also worked on Sarkodie’s breakout hit song “Baby” in 2012.
Aside the aforementioned artists, Mr. Addison’s production credits from the 2010s and forward include work with VIP, Fuse ODG, Shatta Wale, Efya, Stonebwoy, Ed Sheeran, Kuami Eugene and others. His catalogue is indeed an impressive one.
In announcing the deal between PeerMusic UK and Killbeatz, the president, Europe & MD of PeerMusic had this to say, “I am delighted to be formalizing our relationship with Joseph ‘Killbeatz’ Addison and to help further support the great success he has already achieved.”
Continuing, Mr. Nigel said, “We look forward to working closely with him and his team to plug him into our international roster. With our network of offices we will be able to provide ‘Killbeatz’ with access to music markets around the world. This deal was a real team effort as everyone from my royalty, sync and creative departments have been very committed to having Joseph on our UK roster.”
On his part Killbeatz said, “This has been a long time coming. My career journey to this point hasn't been easy, but I am really grateful for the patience and kindness shown to me by the team at peermusic, my manager, David Prince Yeboah, and my lawyer, Paul Spraggon at SSB.”
On the task ahead, he said, “I'm full of energy, new ideas, and super excited to get my productions back onto the international music scene. I can't wait to get started.”
